Phosphoric acid is a chemical compound which is a colourless and odourless inorganic acid. It is non-toxic and contains hydrogen and phosphate ions. It is considered as a food additive and used in many food items as a preservative.


Taking high amounts of phosphoric acid can lower bone density. It also causes major kidney issues and decreases nutrients levels in the body.(1)
