Potassium chloride is an odourless and white crystalline powder. It is salt of potassium that naturally occurs in the mineral sylvite. It is produced through fractional crystallisation.
Potassium chloride can cause mental confusion, burning sensation of arms, legs and hands, stomach discomfort, weakness of legs and pale skin. It can also cause diarrhea and vomiting.(2)
