Description

A prawn is basically a crustacean that resembles a big shrimp, with long antennae and a shell. They vary in colour from a dark red to an orange-red or pink. Prawns have a smooth, glossy body with an abdomen divided into several segments. They can be found in both fresh and salt water.They are available with head and even headless.
