Description

Propylene glycol is a colorless, odorless thick liquid. It is commonly used as a food additive or ingredient in other applications. It is used to improve the texture, flavour, appearance and shelf life of the food products.

Note

Consumption of foods containing propylene glycol may cause the risk of heart disease and heart attack. It may cause nausea, vertigo and strange sensation.(1)
