Description

Putnala Pappu is roasted yellow lentil, rounded on one side and flat on the other, popularly known as Bengal gram or Chana dal. It can be roasted in oil, in an open pan or oven until it turns crisp. Some spice mix and salt can be added for flavor. It can be consumed as a snack or mixed with namkeens.
