Description

Raising Agent 450 are the salts of either sodium, potassium or calcium. They are obtained artificially from carbonates and phosphoric acid. It is considered as an emulsifier and also as a raising agent in baked products.

Raising Agent 450 is high in phosphates and excessive consumption of phosphates can disturb metabolic processes.(1)
