Roasted Black Pepper

Description

Black pepper is a perennial climbing vine in the family Piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, known as a peppercorn. Peppercorns are dried and crushed into powder, to be used as a spice and seasoning. Roasted Black Pepper are peppercorns, openly toasted in a pan over moderate heat for 3-5 minutes. They give out smokey aroma when completely roasted. They can be used whole or powdered, to add sharp and mildly spicy flavor to dishes.
