Usage Tips

  1. Rose essence can be used to flavour biriyani and pulaos, many sweets like gulab jamun, rasgulla, kheer and is also used in rose sherbet.
  2. It should be sealed properly and stored in the refrigerator.

Rose essence is basically an essential oil of rose obtained by steam distillation or extraction with solvents. It is an essence obtained from centifolia, damascena and gallic (rose variants). It is colourless or pale-yellow liquid oil.
