Description

Sea salt is the salt that is obtained by evaporating seawater. It is used as a seasoning in foods. Since sea salt comes from a natural source it contains minerals like potassium, magnesium and calcium which are ideally not present in “table salts”. Hiwever, it is definitely less salty than table salt. It is often believed that sea salt, coming from a natural source, is healthier than other types of salts and provides several benefits, but there is very little evidence to back these claims.
