Description

Seville oranges are round to oblate in shape and small to medium in size. Their orange colored skin is rough and thick. Their flesh is a little juicy, acidic and contains a lot of seeds. The flesh is divided into 10-11 segments by thin white membranes. They are available in the winter through early spring. Seville orange is native to Southeast Asia. It is now grown throughout the Mediterranean region and elsewhere, including California and Florida.
