Description

Shrimp powder is made from small shrimp that have been sun dried and then ground, creating a powder with an intensely salty, fishy taste. Its use is widespread in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia and Malaysia where it is an important ingredient in many dishes. It is a pink to orange coloured powder.
