Description

Squid are soft-bodied molluscs. Squid is eaten in many cuisines. Squid lends itself to hot and fast cooking methods such as grilling, broiling, sautéing, and deep-frying. It can also be eaten raw, such as in sushi. Or try a low and slow braise in white wine and garlic or tomato sauce or curry. There are many ways to prepare and cook squid. Squid is generally considered a safe food in moderation. The main health risks of squid and shellfish come from their mercury levels and allergies.
