Description

Tilapia is a mild-flavored, lean fish. Tilapia is a genus of fish in the Cichlidae family. They are native to Africa. Tilapia consist of three genera: Tilapia, Sarotherodon, and Oreochromis. Their colors vary between black, red or gold. They are shaped like sunfish or crappie. It has become the third most important fish in aquaculture after carps and salmonids.
