Usage Tips

  1. Tuna flakes can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container and can last upto one week.
  2. Tuna flakes can be added to salads, soups, and stews.
  3. They can be served sauteed with fried garlic rice, steamed white rice and bread.


Tuna Flakes are the leftover pieces of tuna after the solid and chunks of tuna. They are pink to dark red in color. Tuna flakes are available in broth, brine and oil like sunflower oil. They can be a great addition to salads and can also be served sauteed.

Selection Guide

Tuna Flakes are mostly available in canned form. Make sure to check its "use-by" date on the can to confirm its freshness.
