Biscuit Pudding Recipe

This recipe is very close to my heart as i made it for sister during lockdown period when making cake at home was not possible as the oven was not working. Also bringing cake from outside was not safe. This is recipe with five layers of various ingredients

Recipe Notes

Do not expose the cream and chocolate to direct heat while melting. Keep them on a tawa or provide steam to them. When you keep the glasses in the freezer make sure u cover them with foil or plate otherwise a layer of moisture will forn on the top layer and remove the crunch of biscuit from the pudding.

Ingredients For Biscuit Pudding Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Crush the oreo biscuits finely and add melted amul salted butter to them and mix it. Take 2 tsp of this crushed oreo powder in another bowl and add milk to it to make it soft and thick. Don't add to much milk just enough to mix the oreo powder.
  • 2. Now crush parle g biscuits and keep them separate. Dont add butter to parle g biscuits.
  • 3. Take amul cream and add the amul dark chocolate to it. Heat the both be keeping them on a tawa or steam. Keep it aside once the chcolate melts.
  • 4. Now take 2 glasses. One with broad mouths will be good. Add the first layer of crushed oreo buscuits to it. Now add the ganache(cream and chocolate mixture) to it. Now add the parle g biscuits on top of them. Add the milk cake just a little(milk cake can be brought from a local sweet shop or home made mava will work if not you can eliminate it and add more ganache). Now add the oreo and milk mixture that looks like coarse chocolate paste on top of the milk cake. Now just to have a dry top to the pudding add the left over crushed parleg just little to cover the oreo and milk mixture. Add chopped almonds as garnish.
  • 5. Now freeze the glasses at least for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
