Methods
  • 1. First of all Dissolve the jaggery in 1 glass warm water. Sift millet flour. Add sesame and 1 tablespoon ghee or oil. Knead this flour with jaggery syrup.
  • 2. Now Take some portion of dough from this kneaded flour and press the dough well with hands. Make a chapati sized balls from the dough when smooth. Flatten dough balls between palms and then rolling the chapati with rolling pin and cut the hearts shape tikkies with the help of cookies...
  • 3. Now heat the oil or desi ghee in a wok.. Or kadhai
  • 4. And now deep frying all... Until tikki r golden brown, Keep fried all hearts, take out on a plate and do the same with rest.
  • 5. Now Serve and enjoy mouth watering hot heart tikkis. Cool and store them in air tight containers. Eat as a tea time snack or whenever you like
