Ingredients: 250g butter softened 220g brown sugar 250g flour (wheat / all-purpose) + 2tsp baking powder > sift together 5 eggs 1 tbsp milk 1 tsp vanilla essence Method: 1. Preheat oven 180*C. Grease and line 9' round cake pan with baking paper. 2. Using an electric mixer, cream butter, brown sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy. 3. Add eggs, 1 at time. Add vanilla essence. Add milk. Add the flour in 3 batches. Stir to combine. 4. Spread mixture into prepared pan. Bake for 50min or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. stand in pan for 10min
