Methods
  • 1. In a vessel sieve one big bowl of wheat flour.Add 1 tablespoon ghee or 4 tablespoon oil and knead the dough with the help of little water. The dough should be stiffer then chapati.
  • 2. Divide the dough into lemon size balls.Now roll it into a flatbread. With the help of belan put holes as shown in the picture.Heat the tawa and on medium flame roast the bhakri.Cook the bhakri with a help of muslin cloth till the bhakri turns golden brown and crispy like a biscuit.
  • 3. After the bhakris cool. Cut the bhakri into small pieces.Now in a grinder add the pieces of bhakri and grind it to a coarse mixture to make a coarse Churma powder
  • 4. Now heat one cup of ghee in a thick bottom vessel.After the ghee is melted on a medium flame add jaggery. Continuously stir till the jaggery melts.
  • 5. Add the above ghee and jaggery to the powdered bhakri. Also add nutmeg powder.Mix all the ingredients well and allow it to cool to room temperature.
  • 6. Divide the mixture into small portions. With the help of hand by pressing gently make round shape.
  • 7. Our Churma Ladoo/Churma Ladva is ready. here I m given a Heart shape.
