Methods
  • 1. In a grinder, grind foxtail millet and make powder. Heat a pan and dry roast foxtail millet powder. Remove from heat and keep it in a plate.
  • 2. Heat ghee in same pan and add foxtail millet powder and roast on medium flame. Roast till golden brown or nice aroma comes.
  • 3. Add milk and cook till halwa Releases the pan. Add jaggery powder and cinnamon powder and mix. Cook for another 1 -2 minutes or till all jaggery absorbs. Add some chopped almonds.
  • 4. Serve hot garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.
