APPLE RABRI RECIPE

Rabri is a famous Indian SWEET RECIPE which is generally cooked at the time of festivals in every house. This delicious dish is made up of milk but I have here done a fantastic twist in it. I have used APPLE,, which is very nutritious fruit and is rich in high fibre and antioxidants.

At the time of removal of the milk layers aside the gas flame should be slow and do not stir continuously.

Ingredients For APPLE RABRI RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Take the full fat milk in a big non stick heavy bottomed vessel and boil it.
  • 2. Then add sugar and crushed cardamom in the milk and boil the milk for a while.
  • 3. When the amount of milk becomes less, about half of the original quantity and dense, do not stir.
  • 4. Keep the gas flame slow and check a thick layer is formed upon the milk, remove it aside.
  • 5. Again a thick layer is formed upon the milk, remove it aside means on the inner wall of the vessel.
  • 6. Again the another thick layer of milk is formed upon the milk and again remove it aside.
  • 7. Repeat this process for few times and then put off the flame.
  • 8. Remove the skin of the apple and grate it finely with a greater.
  • 9. Remove all the thick layers deposited on the inner wall of the vessel and keep these in a bowl.
  • 10. Add grated apple with it and mix them well.
  • 11. Then keep flat this thick mixture on a plate.
  • 12. Cut it with a sharp knife and make some square shaped pieces .
  • 13. Then pour the dense milk in a glass bowl and add the square pieces in it and now the sweet delicious dish ..........APPLE RABRI is ready to serve.
