Recipe Notes

If you feel that while frying, cheese is coming out, freeze the balls for 1-2 hrs and deep fry. This will control the damage

Ingredients For Beetroot Corn Cheese Poppers Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl add 1 cup grated beetroot, 1 Tbsp green chilly and coriander paste, salt, 1/2 cup boiled corn, 2tsp corn flour for binding and mix well. Next add 1 cup cheddar cheese,1 TSP herbs mix and 1 TSP oregano to the above bowl and mix well.
  • 2. In a small bowl add 2 tbsp corn flour/maida and add little water. The batter should not be too thin. In a plate add 1 cup ground oats and meanwhile heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
  • 3. Make small balls. Dip each ball in the corn flour batter and over oats and keep aside in a plate. Once this is done deep fry the balls in oil on medium flame so that cheese also melts.
