Methods
  • 1. Peel carrot and cut into pieces. Boil milk in a pressure cooker and add carrots.
  • 2. 3-4 whistle and remove from fire, keep it till release the pressure.
  • 3. Separate milk from carrots. Grind carrots to smooth paste.
  • 4. Add rice flour and again grind it. Mix well. Shift batter to a bowl .
  • 5. Add condensed milk and vanilla essence, mix well.
  • 6. Boil water in a heavy bottom pan and put a jali in between. Grease a cake tin and add the carrot batter. Put this on jali and cover it . And steam it.
  • 7. Top Now add rice flour in leftover milk from carrots.
  • 8. Add condensed milk and vanilla essence. Mix well
  • 9. Now after 10 minutes, carrot batter little set. Pour the white batter on top of the carrot.
  • 10. Cover it and steamed it till fully set. Remove from fire and leave it to cool.
  • 11. For caramelized carrots sauté, grated carrots in little ghee .dry all water. Caramelized sugar an add carrots. cook for 2minutes and cool it .
  • 12. Decorate on top of steam cake with caramelized carrots and dry fruits. It is healthy and winter special as used red carrots.
