Cafreal is among those important Goan delicacies which was introduced during Portuguese rule in Goa and has become an integral part of Goan Cuisine in the present day. Chicken Cafreal is spicy and tangy at the same time along with freshness added by coriander leaves. Ingredients used are quite limited but everything is quite balanced. In this particular recipe I have used Tasty Tales Goan Chicken Cafreal Paste which is a ready to mix and cook curry paste. Honestly I would always prefer to make Cafreal from scratch as in curry paste don't actually give you the authentic flavors and taste. In this dish the flavours of spices were too much overpowering thereby the balanced taste of authentic Cafreal was missing.
