Methods
  • 1. First take the slices of the bread and trim the sides.
  • 2. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan and shallow fry the bread slices. Keep aside.
  • 3. In a heavy-bottomed pan, boil milk and reduce it. As the milk thickens, stir continuously.
  • 4. Add sugar and cardamom powder.
  • 5. Turn off the heat and add rooh afza. Stir and let this cool for few minutes.
  • 6. In the meantime, make sugar syrup by boiling sugar in 1 cup water.
  • 7. Soak the bread slices in sugar syrup and start plating.
  • 8. Pour the prepared rooh afza rabri over the bread slices. Garnish it with pistachios and dried rose petals.
