Ingredients For Khajoor roll Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take a pan and pour in 2 tbsp of ghee, then add in the 1 1/2 cup of chopped dry fruits each (almond, cashew, pistachio) and roast, until it starts to release its aroma.
  • 2. Now add in the 1 cup of ground dates, and and combine all together on a low flame for 7-8 minutes approx.
  • 3. At last, sprinkle 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut, and combine them again.
  • 4. Remove it from the heat, and let it cool down slightly.
  • 5. Roll it into a cylindrical shape log, and cling wrap it, then roll it further for a smooth touch.
  • 6. Sprinkle some roasted poppy on the slab, then unwrap the khajoor log,and coat it with the roasted poppy.
  • 7. After this, refrigerate it for an hour.
  • 8. Once firm and set, cut it into slices and serve.
