The rotis should be roasted on low to medium flame and the dough should not be very soft

Ingredients For Khasta khoya roti

Methods
  • 1. 1. Take the wheat flour in a mixing bowl.
  • 2. 2.Add grated khoya melted ghee salt and cumin seeds and mix everything properly.
  • 3. 3 Now add water slowly to knead the dough.
  • 4. 4. Make sure that you add water slowly so that the dough doesn't become very soft else the crispiness of the roti will go.
  • 5. 5.Cover the dough and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
  • 6. 6.Now divide the dough into lemon sized balls and roll them into small discs.
  • 7. 7.Now heat a tawa and roast these rolled out rotis till you see brown speckles on both sides.
  • 8. 8. Keep them covered and at the time of serving roast these rotis on direct flame but remember to keep the flame low.
  • 9. 9.Serve them hot with dal of your choice.
