1.
Take a bowl and add in the maida and butter, and crumble it using your fingers.

Pour in the icing sugar and crumble again.
3.
Pour in the beaten egg yolk, and combine to make a dough.
4.
Refrigerate it for an hour.

Dust the rolling platform with some flour and roll the dough into a 1/2 inch sheet.

Now cut the dough using the tart mould itself.
7.
Line the dough properly using your finger, and trim the edges using a knife.

Once done, prick them with a knife or a fork and blind bake them for 15 minutes at 190 degree celsius. The oven should be preheated at said temperature.

After 15 minutes, remove the rajmas or chanas, whatever used, and bake them for another 10-15 minutes.

While the tart is being baked, take a pan add in the chopped strawberries, followed by sugar and cook it on a medium flame.
11.
As the strawberries dissolve and turns into a thick paste, pour in the lemon juice, and cook for another 5 minutes. Strawberry jam is ready.
