Ingredients For Stuffed pull apart roll recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil, peel & mash potatoes. Grate carrot. Chop onion and green chillies.
  • 2. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and green chillies. Fry till light brown.
  • 3. Add carrot and fry for 5 min. Add ginger,turmeric ,salt, hing, mix well. Stir for 2 min.
  • 4. Now add potatoes. Mix well. StIr cook for 3 min.Turn off flame.
  • 5. Let this cool. Our stuffing is ready now.
  • 6. Now lets prepare dough. Powder the flax seeds. Mix it in leftover dal. Rest for half an hour.
  • 7. Gather flour n semolina in a mixing bowl. Add jaggery and yeast.(1 cup=240 ml)
  • 8. Add leftover dal and flaxmeal mixture. Give a good mix.
  • 9. Add water little by little as required and knead well for 10 min. Make a soft pliable dough.
  • 10. Add oil, mix till incorporated well. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl.
  • 11. Cover and let it rise to double.
  • 12. Once it doubles, punch to deflate it. Transfer to a greased surface, gently knead once.
  • 13. Divide this into 10 to 12 portions. Knead each portion to a smooth ball.
  • 14. Roll each into a oblong sheet. Spread the stuffing made on half of the sheet lengthwise.
  • 15. Roll it. Place the roll in the centre of a greased and dusted baking pan.
  • 16. Likewise roll n stuff other portions. Roll then around the one on baking pan.
  • 17. Cover and let rise again.
  • 18. Pre heat otg at 180°C for 10 min.
  • 19. Slide in rised pull-apart bread tray. Bake for 40 to 50 min.
  • 20. Once done take out. Brush melted butter liberally all over.
  • 21. While serving sprinkle fine sev, chopped onion and cilantro. Cut into wedges and serve.
