If you are not able to spread dough on hot tawa..then spread & make roti on a parchment paper or banana leaf(if its available) &transfer the roti onto tawa.

Ingredients For Brown rice roti Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash rice repeatedly. Soak in 4 cups of boiling hot water overight.
  • 2. Next day discard soaked water..rinse once in fresh water. Transfer to a grinding jar..grind to fine paste using water as little as possible.
  • 3. Transfer to a bowl. Add all other remaining ingredients ..mix well.
  • 4. Heat a tawa on med. flame. Take handful dough..spread on tawa.
  • 5. While spreading keep your fingers dipping in a bowl of water to prevent dough sticking to your hand.
  • 6. Make a small hole in the centre..pour little oil..sprinkle little water. Cook covered for 2-3 min.
  • 7. Then turn it over..again sprinkle water & cook for 2 more min. Remove & serve hot.
