Initially rice is to be cooked in water. Once it is half Cooked, coconut milk is required to be added.

Methods
  • 1. Soak rice in sufficient water for about 20 minutes.
  • 2. Drain the water and keep it aside.
  • 3. In a pan heat ghee. Now add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
  • 4. Now add rice and saute it for a while.
  • 5. Add water and let the rice get cooked. Also add salt.
  • 6. Once rice is partially cooked, add coconut milk into it and let it get cooked on slow flame.
  • 7. Keep stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking.
  • 8. If required you can add more water to cook the rice.
  • 9. Once done switch off the flame. garnish it with fresh coriander leaves And shreaded coconut while serving.
