Ingredients For Cold Jamaican Tea Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Remove petals from the flower carefully without taking green or yellow part. Wash them thoroughly and keep aside.
  • 2. Boil water.
  • 3. Put the petals in a heat proof glass jar or container, pour boiling water over them. Let them steep in it for about 30 minutes.
  • 4. Now strain the water. It will be maganta in color.
  • 5. Let it cool.
  • 6. Add ginger juice,lemon juice,honey in it.
  • 7. You may need to adjust the quantity of juices and honey according to your taste. Now the color will change to hot pink or reddish.
  • 8. In tall glasses,put ice cubes and pour this drink on them. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve chilled.
