Flavoured Dahi Bada Recipe

Dahi vada is a popular Indian food in which fried vadas are soaked into curd. Instead of plain curd, I jave assembled vadas into three different flavours, strawberry, kiwi and blueberries. It tastes delicious and family loved this new twist.

Ingredients For Flavoured Dahi Bada Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak moong daal in water for 6 hrs. Drain the water and rake it to a mixer jar.
  • 2. Add green chillies, cumin seeds and grind to a smooth paste.
  • 3. Add salt to the mixture and mix continuously in one direction. This will make the batter fluffy.
  • 4. Heat oil and deep fry the vada till crisp and golden.
  • 5. Sweetened the curd. divide it into three portions. Add strawberry crush, mint chutney and blueberries crush in each portion.
  • 6. Soak the vadas into plain sweetened curd for half n hour.
  • 7. While serving, add flavoured curd on vadas and serve.
