Remember while adding jaggery in flour .flour should not very hot.Add more or less jaggery as per your taste.

Ingredients For Gud Papdi( sukdi) Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Heat heavy bottom kadhai . Leave 1 t spn ghee and pour rest ghee in kadhai and heat it.
  • 2. Add wheat flour and roast it on medium to low flame consistently.
  • 3. Roast it till it turns golden brown in colour and fragrant.
  • 4. Off the flame bt stir it to avoid burn.
  • 5. Add nutmeg powder, and cardamom powder and some chopped dry fruits in it. Mix it well let it cool little.
  • 6. Grease a tray with leaftover ghee
  • 7. When flour cools little add grated jaggery in it and mix it.
  • 8. Pour mixture in tray tap it equally . Sprincle chopped dry fruits on it.
  • 9. Cut it in to pieces..do not separate it but let it set well.
  • 10. Serve it.
