Ingredients For Healthy Raw Papaya Halwa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Finely chop the raw papaya.
  • 2. Then place the pan on low heat and add the papaya.
  • 3. Stir and cover the pan and allow the papaya to cook on low heat.
  • 4. Once the papaya is cooked add the jaggery, milk maid, saffron strand with milk, cardamom powder and cashews.
  • 5. Stir the halwa and allow it to cook till moisture is evaporated.
  • 6. Serve hot
  • 7. Serve papaya halwa hot or warm. You can also refrigerated and serve the halwa as a cold dessert.

Raw papaya being rich in Vitamin C , fibre and antioxidants helps prevent cholesterol accumulating in the arteries. This halwa seemed perfect for my dad who has a cardiac patient and he found this dessert absolutely creamy and delicious!
