Japanese Ginger Rice Pudding Recipe

It's a Japanese rice pudding with a twist of ginger. The clour of this pudding is due to the addition of roohafza which I experimented to make it more vibrant and flavorful.

Ingredients For Japanese Ginger Rice Pudding Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil milk in a pan, after it's boiled add the rice and cook till half done then add grated ginger and mix well.Then add sugar and roohafza.Cook it on medium flame until it reaches the pudding consistency.
  • 2. Switch off the gas and add the cream. Take a glass , first add the pudding then layer it with some roohafza(optional) then add another layer of pudding and garnish with chopped nuts. Serve warm.
