Methods
  • 1. Soak the rice in water for half an hour.
  • 2. Add milk and rice to a pan and bring it to boil. Cook on low flame till it gets thickened in consistency.
  • 3. Once it’s thickened Add the saffron and Mawa to it and combine well.
  • 4. Cook on low flame till it forms a shape and leaves the side of the pan.Then add ghee to it and mix well.
  • 5. Next add sugar to it and mix well. Also add dry fruits at this stage and combine well.
  • 6. Grease a plate with ghee and spread this mixture evenly. On the top of it add chopped dry fruits and keep it aside till it cools down.
  • 7. Next cut the burfi into equal halves. Kesariya Sama Burfi is ready to be enjoyed during fasts.
