Ingredients For Louki Wali Daal Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash and soak chana dal before pressure cooking.
  • 2. Peel bottle gourd and cut it into medium sized pieces. Wash it .
  • 3. In pressure cooker, add dal, louki, turmeric 1/2 tsp oil, salt add 2 bowls water. Pressure cook it for 15 minutes or until daal properly cooked.
  • 4. In a tadka pan, heat oil. Add cumin, when it starts cracking add onion, green chilies, ginger garlic paste and curry leaves. Cook it on low medium heat until onion becomes light brown.
  • 5. Add chopped tomatoes . Cook it . When oil start releasing add kali mirch and garam masala .
  • 6. Add this tadka in cooked dal. Mix it well. Add lemon juice. Serve with roti and paratha .
