Methods
  • 1. Boil potatoes, mash them and boil sweet corn.
  • 2. Now mix boiled sweet corn, arrowroot, onion, red chili powder, garam masala, salt and chaat masala in mashed potatoes in a bowl.
  • 3. Now apply some lubricant on the hands and break equal balls. First make them round then press with palms to give the shape of tikki.
  • 4. Heat 2 tbsp oil on a non stick pan. Place 3-4 tikkis on the pan and let it cook till the tikkis turn golden red in color. Roast the tikkis on medium heat. It will take around 7-8 minutes.
  • 5. Fry the tikkis from both the sides till they turn golden.
  • 6. Take out the tikkis in a plate. Roast the rest of the tikkis in the same way.
  • 7. Serve it with ketchup or green chutney.
