Methods
  • 1. Heat 1 tablespoon Ghee in a pan, add Daliya. Roast it on low flame for around 5-6 minutes till it starts to change colour.
  • 2. Put daliya with water in a pressure cooker. On a medium heat cook it for 5-6minutes.
  • 3. Remove the lid and check if the dalia is cooked well. If not then add more water and pressure cook again.
  • 4. Now add milk cardamom powder and sugar in Dalia. Mix and stir. Cook it on low medium flame.
  • 5. Let the mixture come to a simmer and gentle boil. Cook it for 7-8 minutes. Stir continuously.
  • 6. Add some almond to It. Mix it. Turn off the flame. Transfer it in serving bowls garnish with almonds. Serve hot.
