Ingredients For Moong Dal Halwa Cigars Recipe

Methods
  • 1. This recipe is in 3 parts.First we will prepare the Moong dal HalwaSecondly we will prepare the Rabdi And finally assemble everything and fry.So let's begin
  • 2. For Moong Dal HalwaRoast the moong dal till it turns nice golden brown.Grind it to a semi coarse powder.
  • 3. Prepare the chashni by adding the water and sugar along with the cardamom pwdr till you get a 2 string chashani/syrup
  • 4. Heat ghee and add the moong dal powder and roast it till nice aroma appears.
  • 5. Now add the milk and chasni or the sugar syrup and cook the halwa till the ghee separates and the the liquid is all evaporated.Let it cool
  • 6. Now let's prepare the Rabdi.Heat the milk and add the condensed milk and cardamom pwdr.
  • 7. Cook on slow flame till the rabdi thickens.Keep stirring frequently. Almost after 30 mins the rabdi will be ready.Add slivered nuts and set it aside
  • 8. Now let's make the cigars.First mix the flour and water and make a slurry
  • 9. Now take a spring roll wrappers and spread some moong dal halwa in the middle.Fill generously.Seal the edges with the slurry
  • 10. Heat pure ghee and fry the cigars on medium flame till golden brown.Set aside
  • 11. Now let's assemble everything.
  • 12. Take shot glasses and place little Rabdi at the bottom.Place each cigar in separate glasses and serve warm.
  • 13. Enjoy this delicious fusion Cigars for any festival .Make sure to please use pure ghee
