Ingredients For Morpankh Peda Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take non stick pan and on lowest possible heat dry roast the coconut and keep aside.
  • 2. In the same pan, now add full fat milk and bring to a boil.
  • 3. Now add milk powder and cook for 8 to 10 mins or till it reduces to half. Add in the sugar and cook further 5 mins. till leaves the sides.
  • 4. Add cardamom powder in it along with the coconut but save 1 tbsp coconut for later. Mix till it forms a ball
  • 5. Take a small pan and add 4 tbsp of water and wring to a boil. Add the pea flower and turn off the flame and cover it.
  • 6. After 5-7 mins it will release colour and now boil it again till reduces to half tbsp to form a natural food coloring.
  • 7. Let it cool and now add this into coconut we saved for coating and mix.
  • 8. Now when the mixture is still warm take it on working platform and knead a bit.
  • 9. grease your palms with ghee and form small pedas of peacock feather shape and coat into colored coconut we prepared.
  • 10. Split the almonds in half and stick it to the centre. Enjoyyyy
