Heat sugar with water and pinch of orange food color & make sugar syrup with one thread consistency

Add cardamom powder to the sugar syrup, mix well & keep aside

Sieve the besan in a bowl add orange food color & mix well. Now add water little by little and make smooth batter with thick consistency

Heat ghee in a pan make boondis using a perforated laddle. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Now drain the boondi on a kitchen towel, put the boondi in the sugar syrup.
5.
Repeat the same process for remaining batter. Add chopped dry fruits to boondis & mix well
6.
Take a modak mould, grease with ghee, fill in boondis. Make into modak shape.Repeat the same for all, Refrigerate for half an hour, motichoor modaks are ready to serve.
