Recipe Notes

1. The kheer will thicken because of the oats that we added. If  it's too thick, then add milk or water to lighten it.2. If not using mango, you can skip it.

Ingredients For Oats and vermicelli mango kheer Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First, dry roast the oats and transfer in a bowl and keep aside.
  • 2. Add ghee in the same pan, roast the cashews. Take out in a bowl. 
  • 3. Then add vermicelli in the same pan with little ghee and roast it. Transfer it to a bowl and keep aside.
  • 4. In a heavy bottom pan, boil milk. Then add roasted vermicelli and allow it to cook in low flame.
  • 5. Now add oats, raisins and sugar. Stir it well.
  • 6. Add roasted cashews and remove from flame.
  • 7. Allow it to cool. After the kheer is completely cool, add the mango puree. Mix it well.
  • 8. Keep a few pieces of mangoes for garnishing.
  • 9. Oats and vermicelli mango kheer is ready to serve.
