Ingredients For Pearl Barley Moong Dal Khichadi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak the barley for 3-4 hrs.
  • 2. Take a pressure cooker Heat ghee in it add hing , dry red chilli and cumin seeds and let them crackle for a few seconds.
  • 3. Add curry leaves, cloves , green chilli and onion and fry until onion is slightly browned.
  • 4. Add ginger and tomato. Saute it for few second .
  • 5. Add barley, dal , salt , turmeric powder and 3 cups of water.
  • 6. Pressure cook until barley and dal is perfectly cooked.
  • 7. Turn off the flame. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix it well.
  • 8. Serve hot.
