1.
To make Poha Kheer, take milk in a heavy bottomed vessel and keep it to heat on the gas.

When the milk starts boiling, reduce the gas and put poha in it.

Now cook on low flame and keep stirring it every 2-3 minutes so that the kheer does not stick to the bottom of the pan.

Cook the poha until the poha puffs up and the grains get mixed well with the milk.
5.
Add dry fruits to the kheer and keep aside for garnishing later.
6.
Bring the ladle to the bottom of the vessel and stir the kheer very well.
7.
Add dry fruits and cook the kheer till it becomes thick. Shake at regular intervals.

When poha and dry fruits mix well in milk, then add sugar to it. Mix well and cook the kheer for 1-2 minutes or till the sugar dissolves completely. Mix cardamom powder in the kheer. Kheer gets cooked in 15-16 minutes (approximately).
9.
Poha Kheer is ready, turn off the gas. Take out the kheer in a separate bowl and garnish with dry fruits. Serve Poha Kheer hot or cold and eat it.
