The slower and longer you roast the ragi flour , better the taste.This step cooks the flour and also makes the shelf life of the ladoos longer.

Ingredients For Ragi Jaggery laddu Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Toast the Ragi Flour till it smells nutty 15/20 minutes on a low heat.
  • 2. In another pan, toast desiccated coconut about 5-8 minutes.
  • 3. Toast the peanuts/Almond Remove the husk once they cool down. (If use peanuts)
  • 4. Also toast the sesame seeds lightly
  • 5. Add desiccated coconut, jaggery, sesame seeds and peanuts/Almond in the blender.Make a course powder.
  • 6. Add Ragi flour with Ghee and Cardamom to the blender mix all together
  • 7. Now Coat your hands with little ghee and roll the mixture into lime sized balls.
  • 8. Laddu is ready you can also coat these laddu with desiccated coconut for more rice taste and look.
