Recipe Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta. You can add carrot , peas , onions, sweet corn etc in it. Adjust the seasoning as per your children.

Ingredients For Red Sauce Penne Pasta Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take a big pan , add 4 times water from the pasta. Allow it to boil.
  • 2. Add pasta, salt and 1 tsp oil in it. Cook it on low medium flame for 8-10 minutes. Until pasta becomes soft . Don’t over cook.
  • 3. Turn off the flame. Drain the water. Keep the pasta under the fan.
  • 4. Chop the tomatoes. In a mixer jar Add dry red chilli and chopped tomatoes. Finely grind it.
  • 5. Heat oil in a wok . Add chopped garlic in it . Saute it for a minute. Add tomato puree in it . Stir it on medium flame.
  • 6. Add red chilli powder, black pepper powder, salt , red chilli sauce , basil, oregano and tomato sauce in it. Stir continuesly.
  • 7. Add boiled pasta in it. Mix it gently. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes.
  • 8. Taste the seasoning.
  • 9. Turn off the flame. Transfer it in a serving plate.
  • 10. Grate cheese over the pasta . Serve hot.
