For rice kheer always use basmati broken rice. Dryfruits you can use as per your choice.

Ingredients For Rice Kheer / Chawal Ki Kheer Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash rice and soak in water for 30minutes and then remove excess water.
  • 2. Heat clarified butter in kadhai, fry almonds, cashewnuts and pistachios for 1minute until golden brown. Take out into a plate and keep aside.
  • 3. In same clarified butter, on low flame fry soaked rice for 3-4minutes.
  • 4. Add milk and bring it to boil until it done 750 ml in quantity. In between keep stirring.
  • 5. Now add saffron strands and sugar in it, cook on low flame for 3-5 minutes.
  • 6. When sugar dissolve, add cardamom powder and fried dryfruits (chopped). Keep stirring.
  • 7. Cook on low flame until rice cooked well, thicken and kheer also get half in quantity. Switch off the flame.
  • 8. Rice kheer is ready to eat. Serve rice kheer hot or you can refrigerate it first and then serve chilled. Enjoy it
