Ingredients For Sugarfree Chyawanprash Recipe!!

Methods
  • 1. Wash and steam amla in a steamer for 10 to 15 minutes on medium flame. Let it cool down, remove seeds and keep aside.
  • 2. Take deseeded amla in a mixer grinder jar. Add tulsi leaves and make a crush adding very little water or no water.
  • 3. Heat up the pan on low flame. Dry roast green cardamom pods, cloves, black peppercorns, bay leaf and cinnamon stick for 1 to 2 minutes on low flame stirring continuously. Switch off the flame and let it cool down. Once cooled grind it to a powder using mixer grinder jar.
  • 4. Heat up the non-stick pan on low flame and add ghee. Add crushed amla, mix and cook on low flame till it thickens and water evaporates stirring continuously.
  • 5. Add jaggery, mix and cook till jaggery dissolves and mixture thickens. Add prepared spiced powder, dry ginger powder, nutmeg powder and saffron strands. Mix everything well and cook for sometime.
  • 6. Add honey, mix well and switch off the flame.
  • 7. Let it cool down completely. Store in an airtight glass container.
