Ingredients For Traditional Bohra dessert Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Firstly grate jaggery,almonds and dessicated coconut
  • 2. Wash small broken wheat drain water
  • 3. Now in a pan heat ghee saute small broken wheat till pinkish
  • 4. On other hand boil 4 cups water in another pan
  • 5. Now add this water to broken wheat pan cover the lid let it get cooked tender on low flame for 20 minutes
  • 6. Now add jaggery to this mixture mix all well continuously on low flame till it forms a lump
  • 7. Add cardamom powder ,charoli,nutmeg powder,grated almond and dessicated coconut
  • 8. Mix all well ,till this dessert leaves sides of pan and ghee gets seperated
  • 9. Now switch off the flame
  • 10. Fill it in moulds and let it come to room temperature and unmould it
  • 11. Garnish it with grated almonds
